Be your own captain
Your boat. Your hour.
Take the wheel of your own 15-ft, 2-seater speedboat and follow a local guide along Nassau’s coast. No licence, no experience — just a quick briefing and the throttle.
Follow your guide to Hideaway Floating Bar for drinks, music and swimming, then cruise home as the light turns gold. Drinks and snacks are paid separately.
No. You’ll get a short safety and controls briefing before you leave the dock, then follow a local guide. Drivers must be 18 or older and show a valid photo ID. First-time boaters are welcome on every self-drive tour.
Which tour is best for first-timers?
Start with Be Your Own Captain or Snorkeling Adventures. Both are one-hour, self-drive tours with a guide leading the route. If you want to sample everything, the Ultimate Adventure Package packs ATV, boat and pigs into four hours.
Can two people share one boat?
Yes. Each speedboat seats two guests, with a maximum load of 530 lbs (240 kg) per boat. Groups of up to 20 guests can head out across the fleet, with guides leading the way — typically 10 guests per guide.
Every tour includes the boat or vehicle, a safety briefing, life jackets or safety gear, and a local guide. Snorkel gear is included on snorkel tours; ATV gear and training are included on land tours. Food, drinks, towels, souvenir photos and gratuities are extra unless the tour page says otherwise.
What happens if the weather turns?
All tours run weather permitting, and routes can change with conditions. If we can’t run at your scheduled time, you can reschedule or receive a full refund of the amount paid.
Are the tours good for cruise passengers?
Yes. We’re at Malcolm Park on East Bay Street, about five minutes from the cruise port. Check your ship’s arrival and departure times before booking, and message us if you’d like help timing a tour around your schedule. Our Carnival shore excursion, Mini Speed Boats & Hideaway Beach, is another option.
Can we book a private group?
Absolutely. Tell us your group size and the vibe, and we’ll build the day — boats, route, photos and all. Most tours take up to 20 guests; message us for larger groups or a private event.
