The shape of a Nassau day

One dock. Five kinds of blue.

A typical run, not a fixed script. Exact stops depend on the tour you pick — your guide reads the water and the day.

04 · The crew

Not a tour. A day you captain.

You drive. We guide. That’s the whole idea.

We’re a local crew on Nassau’s waterfront, putting guests in the driver’s seat since 2016. No crowded ferries. No standing at the rail. Just you, your own mini speedboat and a guide leading the way to hidden beaches, snorkel spots and the famous swimming pigs.

We keep groups small, brief you properly and stay in the water with you — so the only thing you have to think about is which way to point the boat.

  • Local guides who know the water
  • Safety brief & life jackets
  • Five minutes from the cruise port
  • Small groups, big memories

18+ to drive
5+ with an adult
530 lbs per boat
Do I need a licence or boating experience?
No. You get a short safety and controls briefing before you leave the dock, then follow a local guide. Drivers must be 18 or older and show a valid photo ID. First-time boaters are welcome on every self-drive tour.
Are there age or weight restrictions?
Children riding with adults should be five or older. Children under five are welcome case-by-case, as long as the water is fair and they can hold on. Each boat may not exceed 530 lbs. To drive alone, you must be 18+.
Do I need to be a strong swimmer?
No. You’ll wear a life jacket and our guides are in the water with you. Non-swimmers and non-snorkelers are welcome to relax onboard and enjoy the view.
Any health restrictions?
Open water can be choppy at times. We do not recommend the tour for guests with neck or back problems, recent surgery, or guests who are pregnant. No alcohol on the boat — but you’ll get two free shots at Lime Wedge after the tour.
What should we bring?
Photo ID for drivers, swimwear, a towel, reef-safe sunscreen and a waterproof phone case. Leave the alcohol on shore — no alcohol on the boat. We provide the boat, fuel, life jackets, safety gear and a local guide on the water.
Where do Nassau tours leave from?
We meet at Malcolm Park, East Bay Street, next to Antiki Floating Bar on Arawak Cay — about five minutes from the cruise port. Arrive 30 minutes early so you can check in and meet the crew.
How do Bimini bookings work?
Bimini runs on a live calendar: pick your date, see the times that are open and book online. Meeting details are confirmed with your booking. Open the Bimini hub to see dates.
Can we book a private group?
Yes — crews, birthdays, bachelorettes, corporate days and big ideas are our favourite kind of booking. Tell us the vibe and we’ll build the day: boats, route, photos and all. Plan a private adventure.
